Kate Charlebois (she/her)

I am a Professional Photographer and Communications Specialist based in Kenora, ON. I fell in love with professional photography at age 16 when I was a Wedding Photographer Assistant for the summer in my beautiful hometown of Kenora, ON.

As I moved on to University, my passion for photography remained as I spent my spare time wandering cities and forests with camera in hand. My two degrees in English Literature and Professional Communication helped my understanding of how to incorporate storytelling in photography. Throughout my time at university and working as a Communications professional for non-profit organizations, the dream of being a professional photographer was always on my mind.

The past couple of years has taught the world many difficult lessons. For me, the main lesson was that life is too short and vulnerable not to be doing what you love. Therefore, in the Fall of 2021 I decided to take the leap and start my own Photography and Communications business called Kate Charlebois Creative. Whether I am photographing portraits, products, events, or nature, I love capturing beauty in the details and small moments that often go unseen.
